This week’s FMF writing prompt is: PRESSURE
I am not feeling well this week so I won’t be writing my own five-minute freewrite, but I wanted to make this space available for you to share and read each other’s work.
Join the link-up below with your own five-minute freewrite on the prompt, PRESSURE, then visit your link-up neighbor to read their post and leave an encouraging comment:Â
Kate, you’re in our prayers.
With tongue firmly in cheek…
Life can be a pressure-cooker
but that’s the normal cup of tea
in the life of a good-looker
like, for example, me.
I light up every room I’m in,
that can’t be helped, I’m just a stud,
and though pride may be a sin,
this ain’t it, it’s in my blood,
but people, they expect so much,
brilliant convo laced with wit
(but never lacking common touch)
when in your shade resides Brad Pitt,
so what answer can I find..?
Selfie with me? Sure, get in line!
Dear Kate,
These word prompts always bless me in the most personal ways. While I wrote my post earlier, I just turned to read from my devotional book, Streams in the Desert. I love when God works this way. I am using the link from Crosswalk to share the devotional and I pray it somehow blesses you as well. Praying for you to feel better this morning.
In His Love,
Joanne
