Do you need some

REAL-TIME ACCOUNTABILITY

in your WRITING LIFE?

If so, this is for you:

writing accountability group

What a wonderful environment Kate fosters through the writing accountability group. A space that reminds you that while you may form the words alone, the act of writing can happen in the supportive company of others. A space that invites you to make appointments with your writing self in ways we often struggle to on our own.

To engage with this group is to say yes to community and connection, project progress, and prioritizing the call to create.

Are you a writer who is NOT WRITING?

Do you keep MAKING EXCUSES?

Are you sick of NOT MAKING PROGRESS?

Do you wish you had MORE TIME TO WRITE?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions,
this 4-week Writing Accountability Group is for you!

Kate’s Writing Accountability Group was a timely gift to my writing life. Simple, yet effective. Knowing it was on my calendar reassured me that I had scheduled time to write. As we met, I was free to give myself fully to writing – and finished two writing projects!

ABOUT YOUR HOST:

Hi! I’m Kate Motaung. As an author, editor, and coach, I love supporting other writers and helping them make progress in their writing lives.

I’m also the host of Five Minute Friday, an online writing community that seeks to encourage and equip Christian writers.

Books I’ve written include A Place to Land: A Story of Longing and Belonging, Letters to Grief, The Five-Minute Writing Prompt Journal, and Influence: Building a Platform that Elevates Jesus (Not Me).

I hope you’ll join me for this writing accountability group in March!

FAQ:

WHO CAN JOIN?

Anyone who’s ready to write!
Whether you’re a veteran writer or a newbie, a professional writer or a hobbyist,
young or old, you’re welcome to join us!

DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL EIGHT SESSIONS?

No! Join as often as you’d like. Whether you participate in one session, three, or all eight,
you will have made progress in your writing life, and that is the goal!

DO I HAVE TO TURN ON MY VIDEO DURING THE SESSIONS?

While it’s not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that you leave your video on during the group writing sessions for accountability purposes. Of course we won’t expect you to have your hair and make-up done, but would love to see your smiling face!

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO SIGN UP?

When you make a financial commitment to something, you are much more likely to participate in it.
Plus, your writing life is worth investing in! If you join all eight sessions, that’s only $3 per 60-minute writing session. Even if you can only join three sessions, that’s only $8 per session to accomplish writing you might not have done on your own. It’s totally worth it!

WILL THE SESSIONS BE RECORDED?

No, these will be live sessions for the purpose of accomplishing focused writing time and will not be recorded.
