As soon as my friend introduced me to SmarterQueue as a social media scheduler, my first thought was, “Where have you been all my life?”

As a full-time writer, editor, and social media manager, I’ve tried my fair share of social media management tools. I have experience with Buffer, HootSuite, Facebook’s native scheduler, Later, and more, but in my humble opinion, SmarterQueue is hands down the best social media scheduler I’ve come across.

However, I wouldn’t be recommending this product if I didn’t absolutely love it! Also, I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about SmarterQueue if you finish reading the post and watching the video below and would like to know more.

For those looking for a comparison, I’d say it is most similar to Meet Edgar, but friendlier on the budget.

I currently pay for the lowest tiered plan at $19.99 per month, which gets me four social media accounts of my choice — for example, if I want to load up two Facebook pages and two Facebook groups, I can do that. I’m not limited to just one account per platform.

Here’s a video I recorded about how to use SmarterQueue and why I love it so much:

Reasons I Love SmarterQueue as a Social Media Scheduler:

1. Customizable Categories

One thing I love about SmarterQueue is the ability to divide your social media content into categories and set different schedules and frequencies for each category. For example, if I want to post one Bible verse every Monday at 8am, Wednesday at noon, and Friday at 4pm, I can just drag that category onto my master calendar and fill up my queue for that category with relevant content.

2. Content Recycling

With most social media schedulers, once your content has been posted once, it’s over. With SmarterQueue, you have the option of setting it to recycle the same post after a certain period of time, based on how many other posts are in your queue for that category and social media account. I think it’s a great idea to re-share content every few months or so to reach new followers and catch those long-time fans who might have missed it the first time around.

3. Easy Uploading

SmarterQueue makes it so easy to upload original content, and will even populate multiple accounts at once with the same post, depending on what you choose. So instead of having to create duplicate posts for Facebook and Twitter, I can just type what I want to write once, and SmarterQueue gives me the option to post to multiple accounts.

4. User-Friendly Content Curation

Not only is it easy to upload your own original posts or even re-share the archived content on your social media feeds, but SmarterQueue also makes it simple to find content from other pages and social media accounts you follow and enjoy. You can also save pages to your Favorites for easy referencing in the future. Just make sure you’re giving proper credit whenever you re-post someone else’s content. 🙂

Those are just a few reasons I love SmarterQueue as a social media scheduler. Have you tried it yet?
